MSD LAMPS MSD lamps are compact light sources, designed for optimum optical efficiency. The lamps are filled with Mercury and rare earth elements to obtain high efficacy and a stable colour with a very good rendering index. Luminaire lenses must block the considerable UV output of the lamps and they must only be operated in closed luminaires due to the high internal working pressure.
